Flange adapter
Flange adapters acc. to SAE J 518 by Indunorm have become established in the market as leakage-free connections. These are designed in such a way that all possible connection methods for pipes, hoses, as well as the connection of many fittings to a standard SAE 4-hole drill pattern is guaranteed.
The connectors are ideally suited for large dimensions, high pressures (up to 420 bar), and for applications with narrow installation areas because - in comparison to the usual screw-in connections - lower tightening torques are sufficient, which is why smaller tools can be used.
A profile sealing ring ensures the flange is leak-free. The holding force is achieved with 4 screws and flange halves, for example.
The easy removal, especially when flange halves are used, is another benefit for users. The application range extends from stationary hose and pipe assembly to mobile hydraulics.
