Rotary unions
High compressive strength, streamlined design, long service life
Rotary unions are components that can be used only for special applications due their structural design and the selection of the materials. They are installed wherever rotating or pivoting connections of pipes or hoses with (high) pressure are to be established. If torsion or too narrow bending radii shorten the life of hydraulic hose assemblies, rotary unions provide effective relief.

The Indunorm program: Axial, angled, multipath rotary unions with galvanized steel design and nickel-plated rotor axes as well as in rust- /acid-resistant stainless steel. Available in different sizes, inch and metric, NPT threads and various types of seals.
In some cases, a suitable component must be selected carefully due to the different requirements in terms of operating parameters pressure, speed, temperature, medium, and installation situation.
The selected product can ensure a smooth and wear- free operation only after considering all operating parameters. However, the seals and bearings of the rotary unions are still subject to natural wear and tear even if properly installed and used, which means individual components must be replaced after a certain operating time. The seals of many Indunorm rotary unions are interchangeable and available from Indunorm.
This is what distinguishes Indunorm rotary unions:
- High compressive strength
- Streamlined design
- Solid construction
- Long service life
