Excellent to good Abitur (general qualification for university entrance)
Duration of Study
3 years. The studies begin on 1 October of each year. Apart from that, a short-term internship must be completed one month before.
Communication skills, flexibility, commitment and interest in business processes are characteristics you should possess as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration (with focus on trading). Apart from that, we expect you to be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Course of Study
Your studies will take place under the dual system. This means that professional practice at the company and the transfer of theoretical knowledge at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Mosbach alternate at three-month intervals. In this way, students may implement their recently acquired theoretical knowledge during their practical phase at the company, while at the same time expanding and consolidating their know-how. Apart from the interdisciplinary subjects and the features of general business administration, they get to know the entire range of instruments of trade marketing. Further key areas include merchandise management systems, logistics, business-related accounting, purchasing, sales, controlling and human resources.
Upon graduation after three years, you will obtain the "Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration" degree (with focus on trading). In the course of globalisation, it is also possible to complete individual theoretical or practical phases abroad.
