Who is affected?
The change affects B2B and B2G customers in Germany. The legal basis is the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz).
What do you need to know?
From 1 January 2027, invoices will be sent in a structured format such as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD. A PDF invoice alone does not meet these requirements. The changeover will take place automatically in our system.
